Information services on real time traffic - Action b -

The Commission delegated Regulation (EU) n° 2015/962 of 18 December 2014 – called Regulation action "b" - is supplementing Directive 201/40/EU - called ITS Directive - with regard to the provision of EU-wide real-time traffic information services.

The covered data are from 3 types :

• 1° static road data
• 2° dynamic road status data
• 3° traffic data

The geographical scope of collection and dessemination for road operators is the comprehensive trans-European road network and the motorways, with all the national roads identified as priority zones.
